has graciously offered to teach Leaf Printing to our Zoom study group. Join us for lots of fun with fall colors!
Leaf Printing
- Leaves that can go flat – press them in a heavy book if they are not flat
- Wash the flattened leaves with mild soap & water and rinse well
- Dry between paper towels
Supply list:
- Washed & flattened leaves
- Watercolor palette or tube watercolors in either greens or fall colors
- Mixing brush
- Pointed brush – small or medium size – i.e Newton Sceptre Series 101. – don’t worry if you don’t have this. I will demonstrate
- Water pot
- Paper to print on (i.e. Strathmore 400 Series mixed media or Similar Paper or similar you may already have
- Envelopes
- Black paper (2 or 3 sheets), i.e. Strathmore Artagain black paper pad
- If you have them – Finetec watercolors; Daniel Smith Flourescent Watercolors; Pearl Ex-press Watercolors or similar
