In-Person Study Group

Join us for an in person study group. Bring your calligraphy project, practice materials from Carrie’s class, or whatever you would like to work on as well as a lunch/snack, and beverage in a container with a lid. Also bring a sweater, chair pillow, and any other creature comforts you’d like. Laurie will provide dessert.

If you have never attended, please consider doing so. This friendly group is welcoming and informal. All scribes are cheerfully welcomed.

Directions to 1927 Historic Venice Train Depot

Traveling South on Rt 41: Continue South on Rt 41 to East Venice Ave.
(Do not follow the Rt. 41 Business route to Venice Center.*) Turn right on
East Venice Ave. Stay in the right-hand lane. As you approach the
bridge, stay in the right lane of East Venice to the right of the bridge (do
not cross the bridge). Continue past one stop sign and you will see the sign
for the entrance to the Depot on the right. Continue past the bus terminal
to the building and parking lot.

Traveling North on Rt 41: Continue North on Rt 41 to East Venice Ave.
(Do not follow the Rt. 41 Business route to Venice Center.*) Turn left on
East Venice Ave. Stay in the right-hand lane. As you approach the
bridge, stay in the right lane of East Venice to the right of the bridge (do
not cross the bridge). Continue past one stop sign and you will see the sign
for the entrance to the Depot on the right. Continue past the bus terminal
to the building and parking lot.

*It is easier to get to the Depot traveling west on East Venice. If you travel
east (coming across the bridge), you must drive past the turn-off and
change direction further up the road. There is no U-turn or left turn
allowed just after the bridge.
